Classic Beef Burger Recipe Using Our Special Burger Mince

Our special beef burger mince is packed with flavor and perfect for creating juicy, mouthwatering burgers. This simple recipe ensures your burgers are tender, flavorful, and the highlight of any meal.

Ingredients

For the Burgers:

  • 500g special beef burger mince
  • 1 small onion, finely grated or diced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced (optional)
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard (optional, for extra flavor)
  • 1 egg yolk (optional, for binding)
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper

For Serving:

  • Burger buns
  • Lettuce, tomato slices, and sliced red onion
  • Cheese (cheddar, blue cheese, or your favorite)
  • Condiments: ketchup, mayo, mustard, or barbecue sauce

Method

1. Prepare the Burger Mixture

  1. Place the beef burger mince in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Add the grated onion, garlic (if using), Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
  3. Mix gently using your hands or a fork until just combined. Avoid overmixing to keep the burgers tender.

2. Shape the Patties

  1. Divide the mixture into equal portions (about 4 large patties or 6 smaller ones).
  2. Gently shape each portion into a round patty about 2–3cm thick. Make a slight indentation in the center of each patty to help them cook evenly.

3. Cook the Burgers

  1. Pan-Fry: Heat a large non-stick frying pan or griddle over medium-high heat and lightly oil the surface. Cook the patties for 3–4 minutes per side for medium, or adjust for your preferred doneness.
  2. Grill: Preheat the grill to medium-high and cook the patties for about 4–5 minutes per side.
  3. Add cheese to the patties during the last minute of cooking if desired, allowing it to melt.

4. Toast the Buns

  • While the burgers cook, lightly toast the cut sides of the buns in the pan, on the grill, or under the grill for extra flavor and texture.

5. Assemble the Burgers

  1. Spread your favorite condiments on the bottom bun.
  2. Add a lettuce leaf, followed by the burger patty, tomato slices, red onion, and any other toppings you like.
  3. Top with the remaining bun and serve immediately.

Chef’s Tips

  • For an extra juicy burger, avoid pressing down on the patties while cooking.
  • Experiment with toppings like crispy bacon, avocado slices, caramelized onions, or jalapeños to customize your burger.
  • Serve with fries, coleslaw, or a side salad for a complete meal.

This recipe brings out the incredible flavor of your special burger mince, creating the ultimate homemade burger that’s sure to impress. Perfect for barbecues, family dinners, or a weekend treat!
